Chef JoAnna is a classically-trained chef who specializes in cooking lessons and team building events. While attending culinary school in Santa Monica, CA, she earned a 4.0 GPA as well as certifications in Nutrition, Cost Control, Culinary Management and Safety & Sanitation. Chef JoAnna has appeared on several television programs. She was featured in a segment on "BBQ with Bobby Flay" on Food TV, and has also appeared as a guest chef on several reality TV shows, including Kathy Griffin's "My Life on the D-List", MTV's "Next" and on "Survival of the Richest".
About the Course
Apply math and science concepts as Makers learn to bake and cook from scratch, and create delicious meals. At the end of each semester, students will show off newly acquired skills in our Nailed-It themed cooking competitions. At the end of the semester, each student will receive a Class Recipe Book compiled of recipes created by themselves and their classmates. Includes a monthly supply kit.

December - Nailed It Holiday Party - Create Holiday inspired treats in this competition style semester finale.
Week 10: Dinner Cupcakes - Is it an appetizer? Is it a dessert? The world may never know... well, just until we bite into it.
Week 11: Veggie Pasta with Homemade Pesto & Checca - Grab your mortar & pestle as we learn to make pasta topping from scratch.
Week 12: Crepes Two Ways - We will race to beat the clock as we make sweet and savory crepes.
